I helped register over 300 people to vote tonight. (Well, a lot more than 300 people, I suppose, but that was how many passed by our location during my shift.)

And I did it... by shouting.

The election.
The national economy.
The global economy.
Infrastructure.
Atlanta ground to halt.
Iceland's shutting down.
Vague threats of martial law.
Technology's straining to leap.
And that's without even getting into my personal life.

Weird times. Exciting times. Terrifying times. Uncertainty. A lot of risks, a lot of opportunities. I know, it's freakish.

Don't panic. Seriously, don't. Just make sure you know where your towel's at. Take a breath. Count to ten. Keep your eyes open, stand tall. Be calm, be aware. Expect the best, plan for the worst. Don't trust your squirrel brain for more than ten seconds at a time.

Swallow the weird, make it your own.

If it all comes crashing down, get out of the way. And if you can't, swim.

But until then, don't panic.

And especially then, don't panic.

Oh, the stories we'll have to tell...

CRAP! It's another frickin' debate tonight.

Anyone want some company to watch it with?

DOH!
I just made the connection that My Thanh is now MT Market. Here I thought they'd closed, when they've radically expanded.
