There's more to say, but for now: thank you. I love you.

The empirical evidence supporting the proposition that my life is awesome is thus: there is currently gesso spattered on the microwave.

And that's without even mentioning the miso paste on my crotch...

Alright, I suppose it's time to plan my flipside project. Ideally I'd be doing this in the last 48 hours, but the last two weeks will just have to suffice this one time.

So, the inspiration is this: I'm too socially insular. I spend too much time at Flipside associating with people that I already know, or that are readily available somehow (neighboring camps, etc.) This year, I want to change that. I want to get to know more people. A lot more.

So, what to do with that? That's the part I'm toying with. What project best serves that purpose? Nobo challenged me to something pretty cool a while back. I want to do that, but I want to do something else beyond that, too. A few thoughts:

- Trading cards (downside: litter)
- Free, inexperienced amateur tattoos (but: giving or receiving?)
- Spend all of FS just randomly sitting down and talking to people (downside: not gimmicky enough.)
- Create a persona, then start a cult of personality around it (downside: cost of 40 ft. banners)
- Orchestrate a mass wedding.
- Disseminate several compelling, yet conflicting ontologies, and watch how they interact. (downside: religious wars.)
- Create meaningless, quixotic quest for self, ala 80's Sierra adventure game.
- Sleep (invited) at a different camp each night.
- Approach FS as a cultural anthropologist. Publish a paper post-FS.

Any ideas?

OR I could do The Codex, which is an idea I've had floating around in my head for a few years now. A collaborative ontology of spiritual and mystical philosophies expressed through multimedia art. Which sounds like a bunch of buzzword bullshit, but, um, isn't?

Perhaps this next Flipside my project will be to have a meaningful interaction with each and every participant.

That could present some interesting philosophical and logistical challenges. And it's cheap!
